Yellow Belt Test on February 22nd

Alright, people, listen up. We’ve got the Yellow Belt Test coming up on February 22nd, and I keep getting the same two questions. Over. And over. And OVER.

One. 'Am I ready to test?'

Two. 'What can I expect?'

So, let’s settle this right now before I have to start charging people a dollar every time they ask.
First up—Are you ready? If you’ve been to about 20 classes or more, congrats! You qualify. You’ve put in the time, the sweat, and probably a few bruises. You are as ready as you're gonna get. So quit overthinking it and SHOW UP.

Two, what can you expect? Pain. Sweat. A deep questioning of your life choices.

Kidding. (Mostly.)

Look, this test is about endurance more than perfection. I’m not expecting you to execute every technique like some ninja in a Hollywood movie. What I do expect is for you to push through. When your legs feel like cement? Keep moving. When you’re gasping for air? Breathe and keep fighting. When you think you can’t go any further? Guess what—you can.

That’s what the test is about. Not quitting.
So, mark your calendars: February 22nd. Be there. Be ready. And bring your A-game.

Because the only way to fail this test… is to quit.
